The electronic version simply delivers a lethal dose of electricity when the rodent enters the trap or moves between the jaws of the trap which sets off a high voltage shock, killing the mouse in seconds. You could say it is the mouse equivalent of the electric chair, although a lot less voltage is needed to see the condemned mouse off!

It is actually a far more humane and clean method to kill mice, as it is instant and does not cause suffering or leave any blood. It also makes it more palatable to dispose of!

As with the mechanical method, you still need to entice the mouse into the entrance using some form of bait. Peanut butter seems to work exceptionally well and will attract a mouse anywhere near the trap.

The trap can be operated with just a few 'Double A' batteries and will set a flashing green light off once the kill has been made, which will remain on for 7 days until reset. One set of batteries can make approx 50 kills.

As most rodents come out at night, you simply set the trap up in the evening and check on it the following morning. If the light is on, you have your mouse. Simply dispose of it into your waste disposal. You don’t need to touch it or even see it if you don’t want to!
